Hister beetles houses are designed with a bait to collect your colony of hister beetles prior to a clean out and then reintroduce. The trap is a small box filled with bait (activated by water) that only allows hister beetles and excludes litter beetles. Beetles can be trapped over 24 hour period and can live up to 2 weeks in the trap at 10C (50F). Traps are not reusable.
