APHIDIUS COLEMANI & A. MATRICARIAE (Parasite)

Latin name: Aphidius colemani & A. matricariae

Small black wasp (2-3 mm.) with narrow waist and long antennae. Adults parasitize aphids turning them brown and mummified. Aphidius life cycle takes 2 weeks.




SHIPPED : Colemani are shipped as mummified aphids and feed predominantly on melon (black) aphids and other related aphids.
Matricariae are shipped as pre-fed adults and feed on green peach and other related aphids.




OPTIMUM CONDITIONS: 18-25C (65-77F).

RELEASE RATE :
0.5 to 1 per m. sq. (10 ft. sq.).
It is important to release twice one week apart to establish overlapping generations of parasite.

SPECIAL NOTES: They are attracted to yellow sticky cards, but not blue cards.

Note: BENEFICIAL INSECTS - must be ordered by Thursday for shipping the following Tuesday
