FLY PARASITES (Fly Parasite)
Latin name: Muscidifurax raptor, Muscidifurax raptorellus & Muscidifurax zaraptor Fly parasites are wasps about the size of a fruit fly and they do not sting, swarm or bother animal or people. Fly Parasites are used to control flies found in manure on farms, kennels, or compost piles. They are very effective against houseflies, biting stable flies, lesser housefly (95% of flies in manure), horn flies, horse flies, bot flies, flesh flies, face flies and false stable flies.
SHIPPED: Parasitized fly pupae in wood shavings.
OPTIMUM CONDITIONS: Parasites should be released at the first sign of flies every two weeks until the first frost.
RELEASE RATE: 250 parasites per large animal, 100 parasites per medium animal and 2 parasites per chicken.
Release should be done on weekly or bimonthly basis to gain control of flies over the entire season. It is important to release fly parasites on a regular schedule to control flies
